Register for the Battleship Cove

This year our annual summer overnight trip will be to Battleship Cove in Fall River, MA, which houses the world’s largest collection of naval ships.  More information is available on their website, which is www.battleshipcove.org

We will be exploring the battleship Massachusetts, destroyer Joseph P Kennedy Jr, submarine Lionfish, along with PT Boats and others. We’ll also be sleeping on board one of these famous naval ships.

Check-in will be on Saturday, August 1st between 12PM and 4PM, and gear must be off of the boat by August 2nd at 10AM, however, you may continue your visit at the site until Sunday, August 2nd at 5PM.  Roundtrip reservations in advance on the Orient-New London Ferry are strongly recommended.

All campers must be at least 6 years old, and all campers should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletry items and a towel.  Dinner for Saturday night and breakfast for Sunday morning will be served.

The overnight includes access to the museum, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, and a pair of dog tags for each scout as a souvenir for $65. Registration closes June 16th.

Important: Cancellations between June 16th and July 27th would receive a $40 refund.  No refunds are available after July 27th.
